I suggest it's just a matter of time.
Not aware of these being Human Rights being supported by the UN or any other responsible body.
These Dictators Steve, are they Communist by any chance?
I don't know. Are they? What does history teach us? Remember the yellow stars?

I'm of an age where pubs in UK would close at 3pm and not open until 5:30 and then close at 10:30 or 1100 on Saturdays. Also didn't have to wear seat belts in cars either.
You also couldn't buy booze in supermarkets outside the hours or at all on a Sunday.
The Valencian government is loathe to introduce covid passport but, conversely, the discos and nightclubs are asking for them to be introduced for entry and allow dancing with facemasks on.
Considering the restrictions we had placed on us last year, both in Spain and UK, I think we're pretty back to normal now.
Regards medical procedures, I certainly don't want to go back to 1,000 plus deaths every day so quite happy to have an annual booster.
Israel's problem was cutting back on all restrictions before the vaccine had a chance to do its job. They did that when the number of fully vaccinated was only 50% and, even now, have only just reached 60% fully jabbed which means there are an awful lot of people not fully covered.

Having spent most of July and August in Spain and currently in UK, I can tell you it felt much safer in Spain . . . The UK has now dispensed with most of the mentioned restrictions including facemasks (apart from public transport) and many people are indulging in actions now as if there is no virus at all . . milling around in supermarkets ( many not observing 2cm let alone 2 metres) and group hugs outside pubs/nightclubs . . .exercising their "Human Rights" at the expense of rampant infections . . .

Thank you.
I mentioned Israel in relation to the fact they want to cancel peoples covid passes of those who refuse the booster. It will not be a annual booster either but probably every 3-6 months.
Anyway, in hindsight i agree that we should keep this post solely for updates.

DOGV (Official Bulletin of the Valencia Government) has now been published.
DOGV 9167 of today
The first few pages explain the reasons and give the background to the current state. It states that all citizens are responsible for avoiding the spread of the contagion and should take all necessary steps to keep cases to a minimum.
"All citizens have a duty of caution and responsibility to reduce risks to themselves and others".
As in a previous law, the social distancing of 1.5m should be maintained at all times.
Capacity in lifts is limited to 1/3 of the maximum except for those requiring assistance. The interpersonal distance should be maintained.
Whilst the use of the facemask is recommended in all places, even in the open air, they are not mandatory. They are required in all establishments open to the public for all over the age of 6 but not on beaches or open parks. They are also to be used where the interpersonal distance of 1.5m cannot be guaranteed such as urban centres.
(It goes on to explain about wearing them in prisons and at sporting events etc).
Facemasks are to be worn in bars and restaurant and other hostelry places when not actually eating or drinking, on all public transport including taxis and in private vehicles when passengers are from different households.
Then lots of discussion about ceremonies, religious or not, schools and other places of learning, factories and so on.
Mobile discos, amateur singing including karaoke and sporadic outbreaks of singing.
Dancing is not allowed either indoors or outdoors in establishments whether licenced or not.
Smoking, including tobacco, electronic cigarettes, pipes, cigars, hookah pipes, vapes etc are not allowed in any area indoors and not outdoors unless an interpersonal space of at least 2m is guaranteed. This includes on beaches and outdoor parks.
Food and drink may only be consumed in establishments open for that purpose.
It then goes on, at quite some length, and lays down the restrictions already posted on here.
If anyone has a specific question I'll plough through it and see if it's mentioned.

Not really. No one had to complete a medical procedure in order to be allowed to enter, as is the case with these passports. A medical procedure, which by the way, will be ongoing forever, as is evident from various places, Israel in particular.
Take heart Steve I predict by end of October you will see all these Rules and Regulations disappear. Ireland is opening up fully on 22nd October. We had to show Covid Certs to dine inside but that will all disappear. Covid Certs will only be needed for International Travel maybe. Masks going except for shops and public transport. We should have over 90% vaccinated fully by then. We never had the madness of some of the Spanish Regs which made no sense. Our daily rates are around 1400 at the moment but no rush on hospitals and of the 57 that are in ICU 80% are unvaccinated. So vaccinations work.

There is much discontent from the restaurant and nightlife industry regarding the new regulations and they are demanding a roadmap from the Consell for full reopening on 9th October.
A joke" and an "insult to intelligence." This is how the representatives of the main provincial catering and nightlife associations qualify the package of measures approved this Monday by the Consell in what is the start of the descalation. Professionals from both sectors consider that the relaxation of the restrictions is far from the scenario they intended to find, they once again charge against the Consell and demand that a calendar be launched with the next steps that are going to be taken, a roadmap that should lead to a complete return to the "normality" that existed until mid-March of the past year 2020.
Snr Puig said regarding the charges being put to him that there has been a reopening of the nightlife.
His vision does not coincide at all with that of the restaurant and nightlife associations. From ARA, its president, César Anca, criticizes that "while restaurants have to close at 00:30, customers can go next door to have drinks until 3 in the morning . "
Both associations issued a statement yesterday in which they described the revision of the restrictions against the covid that the Generalitat has carried out as a "shame". “There has not been a reopening of nightlife, it is one more lie. The premises were already open with the same hours as the hotel business. The most surprising thing is that these decisions have been taken without summoning the famous panel of experts "

Reminds me of Mandy Rice-Davis’ comment, “Well, he would say that wouldn’t he”.
The restaurant and hostelry industry is only concerned with its income. Public safety, other than paying a half hearted lip service to any regulations, is not paramount in their thought process.
The Valencian Community has the weight off expert advice behind it. I doubt the Hostelry is receiving expert advice.
