Doctor/Prescriptions

Hi! Can anyone advise please. We have fairly recently settled in Quesada on a permanent basis. We both have SIP cards and Residencia and are registered at the Lo Marabu clinic.
Before we left the UK our Doctor very kindly prescribed extra meds to keep us going until we had put things in place. Now, however, the meds we have are about to run out.
My question is, does anyone know the procedure for obtaining the same or similar meds here? Do we have to make an appointment to see the Doctor (been avoiding doing this due to the current circumstances!) or do we just go in to the clinic and speak to the receptionist? Neither of us have had the occasion to visit a Doctor so far but perhaps we will have to have blood tests etc. before being able to have meds prescribed?
Has anyone else been through this process? We have a copy of our medical records on a disc too.

Go and see your doctor and take your English prescription with you,or your boxes of medication, some things free in UK not so here in Spain.

Can we make appointments to see the doctor now? I need to see mine but not an emergency so can wait, but just wondered?

We had to make an appointment to see the doctor who then made an appointment for a blood test, then an appointment for results.

Jan Bee unless things have changed at Lo Marabou you go in & see reception who will ask you what for & she will tell you to go home & the Doc will call you which they do she will ask whats required & if you need a prescription she sends it to the local Farmacia beside Gama for your collection, If she needs to see you she will ask you to call in at a certain time,
