Dog locked in garage

Dog locked in garage

Postby shelzbelz » Fri Oct 13, 2017 11:21 am

There has been a dog locked in a garage all week. He has been howling and crying non stop the past few days.

It seems the owner has gone away as there has been so signs of life at all.

I'm worried now that the dog has no fresh water or food and is surrounded in all kinds of feacal matter!

Can anyone advise me of what to do please.

I don't usually like grassing on people but on this occasion I think I need to tell someone.

Help please!!!

hi..If you don't think anyone is going in to let the dog out or change water / feed then I suggest you go the police..they have a division that deals with this..you may need an interpreter!! Good luck

A cat was stuck up a hill near us, I rang the police and they came right away and sorted it out very nicely..

Just ring 112 and ask to speak to an English speaking person... they will know what to do..

If it is in one of the "dr" roads he is in the garage all day every day. The guy feeds him daily but never walks it. waste of time talking to him as it is "his" dog. cretin!

Yes iant it is on one of the drs road.

I feel so sorry for the dog he so lovely as well. He lives his life in the garage! Don't see a point of having a dog if your going to treat it like that it's cruel!

You can still denounce him at the Police Station if you don't want to call the Police. Fill in the form and let them deal with it. The Spanish are getting better at dealing with Animal Cruelty. Taken a good few years.

As long as the dog is fed and watered and has shelter the police are not interested ...!!
There is a charming farmer up a lane in La Herradades who keeps his dogs on a short chain , the dog cannot get out of the kennel so defecates and has to pee on the bare concrete ,there is no bedding, because the level off the floor is low the kennel floods when it rains , the dog is mainly fed dry baguettes, occasionaly has water and never taken for a run , local police informed ,they came along and said as long as the 3 conditions already mentioned were met ..no problem !!!

This was 2 years ago , he then replaced the dog when it died , situation is now exactly the same , any one says anything he says Its my dog ....!!!! Bxrstard ...
