Dogs in Restaurants/Bars

Dogs in Restaurants/Bars

Postby fiesta2 » Sat Jan 16, 2021 5:36 pm

Firstly I am not anti dogs, but why are they allowed in areas where food and snacks are served. Just back from a bar where a poodle barked at every movement. Nothing was said, people came in and stroked and fondled other dogs, no sanitizing afterwards. It beggars belief in these covid times.

Does the law say anything one way or other?

Dog's aren't the problem, it's usually the owners and their unhygienic practices.

Only my opinion but I don't think dogs, unless guide dogs, should be allowed in bars, cafes or resturaunts. Its just plain health and hygiene.
Why owners think its normal to take them everywhere, even in little baskets beggers belief.

I've had dogs my whole life, but wouldn't impose them on others, especially in bars and resturaunts.
They are afterall dogs not children.
You don't even take your children everywhere with you.

Personally I would prefer to have a dog in a bar than screaming uncontrollable children.

I understand if you don't want to name the bar but could you put up the approximate area so I can avoid it.
Thanks
