Driving in the car

With all the updates that have occurred, can you travel with friends in car together.
I’ve had mixed responses from people, can anyone clarify this for me ,

If it's a 5 seater 5 people can travel but you have to wear your masks.

Yes and it has always been so during this state of alarm from October. You must all wear facemasks unless you live in the same house.
