Appreciate the list thatch1 has shown on here, but travelling Dover to alicante and back several times a year, for the last 4 years, never had the need to go into any of these places, some I’ve not even heard of, and never had a fine. So unless u decide you are definitely entering these zones, I can’t see them being an issue.

The charge is for vehicles which go into the cities leaving you free to use a ring road or motorway to by pass it.

From what I have been led to believe, you will only be stopped in the cities above for not having one of these disks on display, or for staying to long in one of these cities. However, I am further led to believe that if you get stopped for a totally different offence any where in the country, and the police notice that you don't have one of these stickers, you may get done for both offences.

Have tried to order one but cannot upload car registration documents as only allows 400 kb and even in black and white its 3000 kb sent email and called so it's a bit of a daft system

For the sake of €4 I obtained one for the windscreen. Probably unnecessary but particularly in these times I didn’t want any additional police attention.

How do you do it ive tried and tried and it's impossible to do as need to upload the reg document and it's over 400kb so total no go unless go on course at college on how to upload a photo to a site with a pathetic set up and advise would be great have sent email no reply to them

It's not the sites fault if you don't know how to reduce a picture to an acceptable size.

3mb is a ridiculous size, scan or take a photo it at a lower resolution.

If you really can't then send it to someone who does know how to (perhaps one of your grand children if you have them) and get them to send it back to you.
