What is it that’s tripping out, is it one of the individual circuit breakers in the fusebox, the main circuit breaker that’s separate from the others in the fusebox, or the meter itself?
If it’s one of the circuit breakers then exactly what does it say on it?

If there aren't any problems with appliances it may be that the power supply is too low following a meter change to a smart meter. Iberdrola won't come and sort this out. You need a legal electrician to do the paperwork and upgrade you. You pay him for this. Iberdrola then make a charge for this on your next factura and the cost per kw is also increased.

Sometimes, if you aren't able to reset the fuses at your own board, following it tripping, you have to do this at the outside Iberdrola box - usually on the outside wall for your house or, if on a community, in a communal box close by.

Iberdrola are rolling-out Smart meters free of charge to all customers. You’re not allowed to refuse the fitting of a Smart meter.

Your problem isn’t caused by having a Smart meter, if it’s one of the circuit breakers in the fusebox that’s tripping.
If you answer my previous post about exactly what is tripping out then we’ll be able to point you in the right direction to identify and fix the issue.
