Fagor compact plus not firing up

Hi folks.

Could someone kindly point me in the right direction of what to do please. Our water heater has decided not to work. It was working perectly fine earlier today,it cick click clicks, but now it will not fire up. The pilot light flame flashes red when it is turned on. Does this mean it has gone out, if so do iIneed to relight it. Any help would be much appreciated. The make is a Fagor Compact Plus exterior, I cannot see any type of other model number.

Change of battery required?

Is the gas bottle empty?

sounds like no gas

Change the battery

If it’s clicking it’s sparking somewhere it’s either no gas,pilot blocked ,or the spark plug is shorting out ,

Change the battery.
Look up the instruction manual. Troubleshooting.
