Fibre Less in Parts of Quesada

I get, on average, 12 -15mb, that does everything I need. I´d prefer that the roads were not continually in a state of disrepair where these companies NEVER repair them to a decent standard. As said, this is Spain, things are different here to the UK, I´m pleased to say!

With regards to resurfaced roads, It's similar in the UK. Utility companies are not permitted to excavate in a resurfaced road for several years (except under certain circumstances). They are given sufficient notice to carry out any planned works before resurfacing commences. It makes perfect sense.

Bit off topic but last June ( 2017 ) we were in Spain . While away Virgin Media decided to install cable along our pavement , cul de sac , only 7 properties . When we returned to the UK all our neighbours were up in arms . The utility company had left the pavements in a terrible state and had damaged two cars , including mine .

Anyway to cut along story short , after nearly a year of non stop arguing with the utility company and our local council who are totally useless , the pavement has been resurfaced and the cars damaged have been repaired/resprayed . The best bit was when the Virgin rep came round to try and flog the product to us - we all told him to sling his hook ! The point being Bureaucracy is bureaucracy - same in any country but keep on at them and you can beat the sods .

We get our internet from the shop next to the Gama , Dona Pepa . It's about 25 Euro per month - works for us .

As I've said in a previous post , Quesada/Rojales aren't perfect but I personally feel I get more for my " Rates/Suma " payment here in Spain than in the UK .
