Firewood

Firewood

We usually go and collect logs for our fire. However my hubby has just had an op so we cannot go. Does anybody know of a company that delivers logs to your door. Thanks

Most places do delivery. Where you usually get your logs from have you asked them. ?
The problem being with ordering a certain amount they might give you a lot of very large logs which might not fit your burner. Also they just off load in a heap, then you have to stack them away.
Is it not possible for you to drive out and get a small supply at a time or ask your friends for assistance.

Thank you. Yes we can get small supply at a time but means going every few days. Is there a company who delivers and actually puts the logs where you want them? I don't want my husband overdoing it for the moment and difficult for me too in our late 70s.

The wood place at Lo Perez deliver and I am sure would put them where required - even if for a small extra amount. Try calling them on 0034 695 348 572 and ask them.

The one in Dolores deliver, it sure about storing it.
I’ll try and get their number as they are rather cheap.
The other option is to check if the log man is at Zoco market on Sunday morning.
Have you asked your neighbours or friends to help you out.?

We had the same delivery as you in April this year which cost 160€. It took 2 of us 2 hours to carry from the road behind the house to the log store and stack it, so that is 35€ per person per hour on top of the cost.

Does anyone know if the woodplace near Catral has moved? I followed jpegs directions about 18 months ago and they took me to a woodplace that sold oak by the bag and stored in a nice dry place.

I tried again today and I ended up at a woodyard that didn't do stuff by the bag. Deffo not the same place.
