Fireworks display

Fireworks display

Postby Chico Latino » Thu Jul 19, 2018 9:21 am

Hi All,

Just thought I would share a link to what I could only describe as one of the best firework displays that I have ever witnessed in my life. 45 minutes plus of non stop colour in the skies above Elche.
If you have not witnessed this, I would highly recommend it for a great family night out, young and old alike.

The streets of Elche are crazy from around 6pm with locals setting of their own fireworks to the build up of the main event.

13th August.

Invariably there are serious injuries and a couple of years ago someone was burnt to death. No idea why such an uncontrolled night it allowed. So easy to have safe displays!

An 'uncontrolled night' seemed very 'controlled' when we watched the display. Inevitably accidents sometimes happen. Though im sure the local council perform a risk assessment before such events.

Morning all,

Yep it’s a brilliant display, well done Spain for keeping traditions going unlike like the PC / H&S madness that’s seen so many British celebrations fall into history.

Have a nice day all .... :-)

When is this? We saw the Alicante fireworks a few weeks ago and they were spectacular .this sounds even better.
