"Harry's Bar" at the top of Calle Costa Azul in Quesada has fabulous fish & chips and a friendly atmosphere.

Try asking that question on the more appropriate Torrevieja Forum. Quesada folk are unlikely to go to San Luis when we have an excellent fish & chips restaurant in Calle los Arcos, Quesada

Yes but Quesada fish & chips have been a bit lacking in their customer service recently. Don't get me wrong, the food is excellent but the customer service is terrible.

You are escorted to a table and are eventually offered drinks but no one keeps a tab on your table. We have seen people arrive after and be served the same order that you have given. Obviously, the order has gone to the wrong table but because the table numbers are missing this happens on a regular basis.

We've now given up on Quesada Fish & chips but we've heard that there is an excellent chippy in La marina....Not visited yet but looking forward to out first visit.

Happy if anyone in Quesada could recommend an alternative chippy to Queseada fish & chips.

We find the same thing.. customer service is terrible. I don't blame the waiters, there are just not enough of them.

And if you look on Trip Advisor this has been going on for many years..

We avoid going after 7 pm as it's very hard to get served, and impossible to pay unless you go to the counter..

But the fish and chips are really good.. so we keep going..

I had to go to La Marina yesterday to visit the Rightmove office there and stopped for lunch at a fish and chip shop a few doors up called The Chippy. I had the best scampi and chips ever, decent price and excellent service. I will definitely be going back there and can thoroughly recommend it. It's on Calle Francisco de Quevedo.

"Our Plaice" in La Marina is excellent. It's where we go if we ever fancy fish and chips. In my opinion it's better all round.
