Hello we live in Catral campo and still no emergency funding - 4 months later. Never know might be this week, Bee always keeps us upto date.
Don’t know how they prioritize this, is it by area, type of house etc. who knows. Someone had asked on Catral forum if anyone’s in Catral has received this funding and no response so far.

Surely something can be done, protest at the council? It's an absolute disgrace, and certainly not good for your health!

Hello I’m going to take my application to the Catral town Hall, hopefully Friday if not next week and see what the score is - will let you know what their comment is.
I expect it will be the usual ‘They will tell you what you want to hear’ .
I’ve even written on two previous occasions to the Mayor and the Councillor for urbanization re damage to road because of the flooding, no reply to date, but I’ll keep sending the letters.

Thanks Willemite will look forward to hearing your outcome! We are so lucky that we've got Spanish friends that will take us places and translate for us without us paying them can't think how much it would've cost. it really is disgraceful how are we supposed to be able to pick the pieces up and try and start again?
It really is starting to affect us mentally and if that makes us weak so be it!!

Hi cheflady we had our offer from the assessor on the 15th dec for our car 20% more than the book price as a donation from the government. But we are still waiting on the money going in to the bank. They said this was due to the xmas holidays and fiestas. So will wait and see lol
