Forms to enter Spain
Forms to enter Spain
by Matt B » Tue Jul 07, 2020 8:42 am
Hi,
We will be driving to our house in spain. There is a form (Which results in a QR code being sent to you) that needs to be completed when you fly into Spain. It appears to have been drafted for holiday travelers. Has anybody driven to Spain in the last week, or so and if so, do you know if we need to complete the form.
Thanks

I believe that this form is only used for air passengers.
It is to ensure that all passengers can be tracked & traced if one or more passengers on any flight is subsequently found to be positive with Covid-19.

I would think you will be required to provide the form at your port of entry in France or Spain. I would fill it out and have it just in case. See the bit on Travel Corridors from 10th July next.

Hi,
If you go to the website www.spth.gob.es you can fill the form in online. Select language on top right and form and instructions are in English if selected.

Just emailed the government office in Madrid and got this reply - (in red on their e-mail) stating travellers arriving by land do not need to complete the form - however I suspect you will need one to enter France that your ferry operator or euro tunnel will provide as per the other post:
Buenos días:
Le agradecemos haberse puesto en contacto con la oficina de información y atención al ciudadano.
En contestación a su escrito le informamos que el formulario de control sanitario (FCS) disponible en la webhttps://www.spth.gob.es/ está dirigido en el momento actual a todos los viajeros que vayan a entrar en España por vía aérea o marítima. Los viajeros que entren en España por vía terrestre, no tienen que cumplimentar el formulario.
Atentamente,

We drove down over the last two days. No issues at Eurotunnel other than you must remain in your own car on the train and the on-board toilets are closed. The France / Spain border at Irun (AP-8) is completely open with no stopping, so no forms required.

Hi.
Same as above. No delays or restrictions. We drove down last week including an overnight stay in Millau.
Absolutely no restrictions or controls on the border.

Were you required to submit any form when you entered, or before you crossed over to, the port at Calais?
