A friend of mine wants to take out a funeral plan, so I've been asked to checkout this company based in Doña Pepa for them, I know they are a registered company in the UK, also as an S.L. company in Spain, but as neither company has ever submitted any accounts, it's not easy to know just how well the company is operated.

Anybody had any dealings with them, good or bad, although obviously not until someone dies would any failings, if any, be highlighted.

Hello Adey

Thank you for enquiring about Funeral Plans Europe. We are based in The Expat Centre in Dona Pepa. which I also own. Whilst it's a relatively new company, hence the accounts are not due yet, we have a wealth of experience in this market. You are more than welcome to come and see us at The Expat Centre which is a one stop shop for Expats, where we help with advice on everything to do with life in Spain.

The whole ethos, both with Funeral Plans Europe and The Expat Centre is about ensuring people get the best advice, which is free and also get services at fair prices. Hence we launched the basic, low priced cremation plan, to suit the needs of many people, especially after Covid changed people's views on what they needed and wanted for their families
You are correct, that with Funeral Plans, the unfortunate situation is that someone will have passed before we can be "judged" on our service. Fortunately (or unfortunately) we have managed to help many families at what is often the most difficult time in their lives.
We go far beyond taking a phone call at their time of need - always bearing in mind that the companies who have been offering funeral plans and helping with "that" call give people so much help at a traumatic time. We however go way beyond that and whilst every set of circumstances is different, we have helped hold the hands of the bereaved, helped arrange for family to get over from UK and taken them to see the deceased and been with them at every step up to the funeral and afterwards too. We do not look for applause for this - this is what we do, it's about compassion. There no boundaries to our services when someone passes, We are also pleased to be offering our services to Royal British Legion who trust us in handling the deaths of their veterans.
The best thing that someone can do, is pop in and see us at The Expat Centre in Dona Pepa. We will be more than happy to answer any questions and help where we can.
Thanks again
Moira
