Funeral Plans Europe

My friend lived alone. I found him passed away in his villa. There was an Avalon card in his wallet. I phoned the police, Avalon, and his family in the UK. Avalon took care of every aspect of his funeral from then on. Wonderful service. Sad as the event was, I was particularly pleased to witness Avalon’s service, because both my wife and I took out Avalon plans a couple of years ago.

Has anyone actually used the service of this company, ie had a loved one pass away. If so, and you are happy to share your experience with me, can you send me a private message. I like to understand the real nitty gritty before I make a commitment. Thanks,
.

Hi all,

I can give you my opinion.

When we set up in Spain we looked at Avalon and Golden Leaves and Iberian and Funeral Plans Europe.

We knew we wanted a funeral plan provider on board and looked to see who would give:

1. Best value for money
2. Best customer service
3. Easiest application process
4. Least pressurised sales model

Funeral Plans Europe came out on top in each of these categories by a country mile.

Their Palmerita plan at just 2495 Euros is unbeatable value and Moira and the team at the Expat centre will always go the extra mile to help.

This is why we chose them even though the others were offering huge commissions to promote their plans.

Funeral Plans Europe offer good old fashioned personal 1 to 1 customer service at an extremely fair price.

I hope this helps - I know it's a bit biased as we promote their plans, but I thought you guys would appreciate the background of why we chose to promote them in the first place as opposed to anyone else.

Kind regards

Paul

Hi Paul
Thanks for your honesty and integrity regarding your involvement with said company.
About 7 years ago an acquaintance of mine died unexpectedly. He came to Rojales to look after his mum, but died first.
No funeral plan, no nothing.
A few whip rounds in the local left the fee well short. I stumped up a couple of grand to see him sent to rest correctly.
Afterwards, some more whip rounds and raffles repaid me about 50% of the amount I donated, for which I was grateful.
Full bill with ASV was over 4K.
The rates you advertise are very reasonable.
I also advise anyone who has not looked into this yet, please do so.

I wonder, still, whether anyone has actually used FPE? The other providers have plenty of customers who have already used the provider for their loved ones and so lots of personal references (or otherwise)to go at). Process to get a customer on board may be perfect, but the proof of the service being offered is at the other end.
