Gas refill

We bought a second hand gas cylinder. It is Probane and it’s Repsol. Our others are Cepsa Butane. Anyone know where we can get a refill locally as Gama are Cepsa?. We need a Repsol supplier

You could try the Galp station in Ciudad Quesada. They have both butane and propane but not sure whether they are Repsol or Cespa. As far as I know, the nearest Repsol station is in Los Montecinos. The bricolaje in Rojales sells repsol butane but do not know if they also sell propane.

Are all bottle exchanges the same price. I paid 20.40€ yesterday for a butane Repsol bottle from the BP garage in Benimar.
It was the first time I had done it so any advice would ge grateful.

The totally orange ones, 12.5 kg are regulated by the state and are 16.13€, the lighter ones with the blue tops are not regulated and are only 12 kg and cost 19.40€.
If you buy from a non repsol 3rd party they will charge a handling charge.

Supermercado Canales on Avda Costa Azul will change either. Don't know his charges

Thanks for your replies. Bought a Repsol butane refill from Supermercado Canales€23. Normally €20 in Gama Having difficulty getting it to fire for some reason but will persevere

There may be a lot of air in the system if it hasn´t been used for a while, so keep the knob depressed for 30 seconds or so before clicking the ignitor.

Will try that but suspect that the regulator might be a fault as it fires up in another heater Borrowed a new one to try as Ferreterias are closed until Monday
