A bit scruffy, looking at the pictures of the painted tiles, you can see the pattern through.
Is it easy to remove if you dont like it?
If start to paint a pine door and cant get a good finnish , your then commited to that process ??

The painting on the tiles is a technique call dry brushing, very shabby chic.

That good news, he must be a new stockist as he’s not yet listed on the Frenchic website.

Do you know if he has a good stock and does he sell Frenchic brushes as well?

Bee.
Have you a large are of railings to paint? I tend to look for an easy solution. Here’s what I would do…
Choose a colour and buy a few cans of car spray paint.
Tape black bin bags onto one side of the railings.
Follow instructions on can and start. Don’t get too carried away or you’ll get “ runners”. Take your time. I think you’ll see great results!
If you have pointed filials, tape dry paint below and spray with gold for a palatial look!
Years ago , my brother in law had their new American fridge spray painted in Jaguar Navy. It was class.
Good luck.

No not a big area R. It is awkward for access as we are on the 3rd Floor. (I think it is 3rd floor i.e 2 over the ground floor) There is no access outside to one railing as it is full heightand we would need a very long extension ladder. The front ones are not too bad as they are half railings. We just need to get organised and have them replaced with the coated ones.

What about community funding to get the professionals in? It’s a difficult one when we are only over here for short periods of time. We don’t have an extendable ladder or I’d offer it to you. Maybe climbing a ladder up 2 stories doesn’t appeal to you anymore! Personally, I’m almost past it. Tried it at home last summer and it wasn’t a massive success to say the least. R
