Thanks, how did you find Euroguard? Any problems with the fit or finish?? Do you remember the spec of the glass they use? Cheers Tim

We had glass curtains put in by PPS on our balcony a four years ago. They were not the cheapest quoted to us but the quality of workmanship
was worth paying the extra. They were very accommodating to my specific requirements. You get what you pay for, 4 years later and still looking and working excellent !
Would recommend to anyone.

We had PPS install ours 7 years ago. We looked at many other companies and there was no comparison in workmanship. The glass curtains are still as good as new and paying the extra was well worth it.

I can only endorse what the last few people have added. PPS did an excellent installation for us. Top quality product and top class workmanship. You get what you pay for with them.

Agree with Jpeg, check with your local Town Hall - you will almost certainly need a Minor Works Licence. If you don't do it now, it may well come back and bite you in the proverbial, when you'll have to go through the permission process retrospectively and possibly end up with a fine. It's not worth the risk for a licence that doesn't cost a lot of money: I had to get a licence for a new shed base, it was only Eu 33. And don't listen to neighbours who tell you they didn't bother - bar room lawyers like company when they're breaking the law.

Thanks for that, I know my community has now given blanket permission for glass curtains, but I'll be sure to check out if I need a license and probably ask whoever's fitting the curtains the question too, if they're reputable they'll know the answer and should hopefully be able to help with the application

We used Euroguard for our glass curtains they came and fitted them late one afternoon and couldn't wait to get away as it was late in the day. We had to get them back twice to remedy problems. Their after sales service is not good I found that once they were paid they did not want to know and I had to chase them. The curtains have never opened easily as we were told they would and can be a nightmare to close. I am sorry to say I cannot recommend this company.

Thanks very much for the feedback PaulG, that's the sort of thing I'm after, it doesn't bode well, much appreciated

Thanks for all the replies, in the end we went with Tim and Annette from PPS glass curtains, they've finished installing them today, and to say we're pleased is an understatement, absolutely first class service and fitting, talk about a personal service and going the extra mile, if you're planning on having glass curtains, if you need to, save a bit longer and go with PPS, you won't be disappointed.!!
