Your comments are so true Paul M. My mum went with a "cheap" person to do her taxes and now she is paying the price big time for her poor choice. Imagine having to deal with 8 years of incorrect tax filings, which is now costing her a lot of money and stress. Better to go with actual tax experts and to check their credentials.

VP Advisers all day long, tax returns for the year €30 per person, obviously this is for doing your paperwork only not for your tax payment, we have only lived in Spain 4yrs but David(Spanish but speaks very good English) and his team have been very good through the purchase and sale of properties and also helped with my parents tax return (Spanish residents over 10 yrs) they have been recommended a lot of company's over the years but would only recommend VP.

Is it true that after you have done your first Spanish Tax return .
That if your circumstances do not change . That you don't have to send one in yearly.

Change of address.
More money paid to you in pension .

So we were told but also told that it would be ill advised not to do it as its o e form of proof you are still residing in Spain, for the sake of €30 we have it done every year.

I find it very strange in Spain, you give your bank details to a company and all of a sudden its no longer your bank but theirs to do with how they like, one reason we don't keep money in a Spanish bank.
