Guardamar Beach

Hi, can anyone confirm if the beach was open today. It was shut on Saturday with no sun beds for hire.

You haven't read the loads of other threads on this, then.
The beach was reopened to walkers today but swimming is still not allowed and, judging by the reports of raw sewage, animal fecal matter and lots of other rubbish being dumped into the sea from the Rio Segura may not be for some time. The water needs to be tested to ensure it is safe.
Some people are swimming and ignoring the signs but they also ignored the taped off areas as well. Bit silly, really.

And sun beds? Don't think you'll be seeing them again this year.
