Hi all, is anyone using hearing aids if so where did you get them please.

My wife has recently used the audiologist based in Óptica Rodríguez by the Arches fuel station and has been very impressed with the service and results there.

Yes. Protea, on Calle de los Arcos, near Quesada Fish and Chips. Funnily enough, I'm going for my 6 month service and check up this afternoon. I've been very impressed with the service so far.

Tom at Protea is great so helpful and doesn't put you under any pressure. My dad had his first set from Tom a couple of months ago and is very happy with everything.

Hearing aids, like everywhere, are a tidal rip off. Just shop around until you find some2here that you feel you can trust. Ok the guy flogging them is great what about the quality of the hearing and, the back up when an aid goes wrong. Servicing, there us little to service other than a clean.

What about tuning them into your frequencies? Are they the discreet looking ones?

I never heard of headphones having to be tuned in to frequencies and people ha ve been using them for donkeys year without any problems Hearing aids are a complete rip off and can not possibly justify the rip off prices charged by so called hearing aid specialists
They will cost very little to make so the profit margins will be massive
