Hedges

While we're all stuck. In, around our flats and houses .
Is this a good time to trim down Hedges?

I was wondering would we be allowed out of the gate to cut the other side of our hedge?

No, no, no! my husband has been painting the outside of our garden wall until the Guardia Civil AND local police turned up! They asked to see ID etc and took photos of the wall. He was let off with a warning and told in no uncertain terms that he was not even allowed on the pavement unless going for food, doctors, pharmacy or dog walking. They said if they saw him again he would incur a hefty fine!

to me its all gone to far yes we all know the laws but we all have common sense as well i could use stronger words for some of the things ive read on here about fines from the police,maybe you can smell it from here.
