Help Please

Postby M44ryt » Mon May 25, 2020 7:34 am

Can anyone help with advice please?

I received a email from easyJet last week saying my Email address and flight details were stolen.

I have just been on Idealistic to delete account and it came up saying “you will delete your blog if you continue”?

I’m useless on computers regarding how to secure my accounts.

Am I best to get rid of both my email addresses as myself and my husband have easyJet accounts.

Thank you

Are you sure it was really from Easy jet. Perhaps try logging into your easy jet account and see if you can report it. Don't use the link sent in the email. If you have no current bookings I would delete all accounts as a measure of security. Just please don't click on anything which was sent in the email.

Yes, that’s when I changed my passwords, last week.

I’ve been on Idealistic property to delete old account, when I went to delete it came up in red writing

If you delete your blog will be deleted. I’ve never been on a blog, we just looked at properties.

Yes I received this message too. Don't panic as they only have the flight.bookings and not your account details or passport details. Just go on, like others have suggested and change your password and I'd you do get any emails don't open them jysto how onto your official easyjet account. Don't panic! !

Does not matter what you hear on the news that might back up any email you might have received, no one should ever click on any link from an unexpected email, or even an expected email, never at any time, full stop!.

Instead, you follow the same route you would normally to log into any company accounts you have. log in to your account the way you would normally. As in search for their home page and sign in that way. Send “them” a secure email from your account to ask “them” what to do.

Im sure it ain’t nothing for you to worry about, if you always follow the above procedure.

That's alright then coz few if any have got any of those, or not ones which are likely to fly as scheduled anyway.
