Holiday to Benidorm

Just back from the hairdressers and was surprised to hear that a previous
client told her that her holiday to Benidorm has been cancelled. Covid was the reason given. I wasn’t really surprised. Perhaps Spain has decided to refuse any more British holiday makers in the hope that they can curb the virus.
Has anyone else heard this?

Flights coming in every day. Was in Benidorm just a few days ago and was packed with British

Suppose worth knowing why cancelled. Could be loadsa reasons.

Told that it was covid lockdown.

Not heard anything only TUI cancelling to La Palma

I was in Benidorm 2 weeks ago and apart from the Strip I would say it was still mainly Spanish on holiday. We stayed near the outdoor market , an area which is usually dominated by Brits, but definitely not in the hotel we stayed.
Back again next week, but staying in a hotel used by Jet 2 and as it’s half term it will be interesting to see if the balance changes.

Yes, please let me know as I think it may have been Jet2 they were travelling with.

I am in Benidorm at the moment,its full of British.
Also full of N.Irish.
The hotel we are in is at full capacity.

We have friends who booked for Benidorm only this week with Jet2 and fly out on Monday!
