How to save a discussion

Postby Brewingdog » Wed Apr 20, 2022 11:42 am

Hi, I've been reading about the concerns one poster put up about inheritance tax. I thought the replies were very informative and the link provided very useful. The thing is I don't know how to save these threads. I take screenshots but I now have numerous screenshots of comments made over the years. Is there a way to save the discussion I'm interested in. Thanks.

You can copy (by highlighting the post and using the right mouse button).
You can then open a word processor or even the basic Wordpad and pasting the copied text in there.
You then have the option to save to a folder of your choice.

Of course, if there were lots of replies it could take a bit of time but you could copy and paste all the replies into the same document.

They don't, however, disappear entirely. They may not show once you've read them but they are still there.

You could add a post with a keyword (something not used much) like wysiwyg or something. Then, by putting the word wysiwyg in the search box then the old topic will come up.

Hi,I copy the link address for the topic (right click on the topic) and then paste it to a new Email and send it to myself.
Then drag and drop the new Email to a separate folder which I have labelled "Talk Quesada Information".
It would be useful to be able to do this automatically.
