There is a Consum not more than 10 minutes away from you

Good morning from (NI
You are all very kind to take the time to tell me where I can access some of my favourite products. Use Aldi so will stock up on my salad cream and HP sauce. Brilliant.
Babsie. Not sure where your shop is but will search it out.
Consum close by, I’d forgotten that they put a lovely new store there recently. Thanks Fred.
All sorted now
Sincere thanks to everyone. Cheers.
Ps. Flying over on Monday morning and really looking forward to it

There's a large Consum being built by the Needle roundabout next to Lidl

We will be spoilt for choice Chris with all the supermarkets on Ave Valenciana. I presume they will leave the illegal roundabout going into Lidl in place so.

Mac3blade wrote:Well I for one will miss it very much. Yes, it is a bit more expensive but they stocked items that I wanted. Eg. Plain ordinary salad cream, not mayonnaise Water biscuits , Flash with bleach, thick bleach ( Domestos) coffee, Waitrose tea, hash browns and so much more including pure cream.
I am sorry to hear this and like everyone else, sorry for the staff.
At least we can drive over to La Marina and stock up.
Really annoyed about this.

You can get the salad cream, Carrs water biscuits and thick bleach from Pic n Pay in Guardamar. They also stock the Flash with bleach spray, but try the one from Mercadona it’s so much better (and cheaper) than Flash. I’m pretty sure we had a whole thread on here recently on its virtues for cleaning garden furniture.
Pic n Pay also stock things like Pink Stuff and lots of other British Goodies. They’ve also got the best British butchers counter in the area.

Our nearest one now is when you come off the 332 at Cabo Roig and up past the Old Dubliner.
As I said it's mainly frozen stuff, Indian curries and such like, everthing else we get at Mercadona or Lydl.

Will miss their fresh double cream. It really is the best. I've tried various Spanish ones, but none come even close. Not even Supervalu one from Southern Ireland.
