Drug growing squatter gang brought down
Suspects accused of occupying empty luxury homes all over the Vega Baja area to set up marijuana plantations have been busted by the Guardia Civil. A total of 12 arrests have been made in Orihuela Costa, San Miguel de Salinas and Rojales. Full report in Friday’s Costa Blanca News .

They are still there ...but quiet .. no building going on outside ..tho a bit of noise from inside ...they have emptied the pool again ..been filled up twice so far and had pump on 24 hours a day ..but they did not put any chemical in it so went a bit green ...but you would not want chemicals in you water for your in door plants !!!

Yes, people who live in a house and fall behind with their rent but won't move out. Something like that

I don't recognise a difference.
If they are supposed to move out and haven't moved out then they are, by definition, in the property illegally.

Yes, they are still there ..they broke into the house ..they were not renters ..they have finished the big extention ..doing a few odd bits in garden .like braking into the back of the electric meter cupboard..useing the water...think the crop they maybe growing in the extention must be getting to harvest time as fan in garden is on a lot ..security camera's everywhere
Have been to gaurdia and shown them pictures of the gang / what they have done..but not intressed ..said they would come and talk to me but weeks later no one has been ..

Maybe you should get your local councillor involved. Wouldn’t look good if they ignored what was going on.
