ITV

Just wondering if all of the advice and recommendations for San Bartololmé are still valid.

I'm intending to take my car for it's ITV in January, and my Spanish is really poor...!

(Yes - the original post is 6 months old, so apologies to those who are monitoring the dragging-up of old posts...!)

I've always used San Bartolome for 16 years.They are a sociable group and have np problem speaking English.I speak Spanish but my Barnsley accent makes it obvious i'm not a native.You drive your car up to the entry to the lane.The lad will open the bonnet lid to check engine and VIN numbers.Then you switch on various lights at his request.After that he will tell you to go and wait at the far end and he will meet you after the test with the good/bad news.Personally I also clip in seat belts to help him out a little.

Nothing to be "scared of then!!!

It's a constant source of bemusement to me at how worked up and anxious some people get about this simple routine task.
