Jabs for 66-69

Yes when I queried it last week at Lo Marabu salud the receptionist said the 66-69 age group is getting one of the other vaccines, not AZ

My appointment has just come through for tomorrow, I'm 66 and having the Pfizer in Bigastro.

Does anyone know if they're working to any kind of system? I see on here that 69 year olds getting vaccine, then 68 year olds, 66 year olds etc. Obviously not getting chosen by age.

Those age 59 down to 55 will start to be called on May 17th in the Valencia Region according to the health department.

Any one know when will they be contacting 66 year olds.
We have booked to visit UK Middle of June and would prefer to have jabs before we go ?

They've been doing them all week. There's a lot to get through but the Alicante province has vaccinated 70% of all over the age of 60 and group 5B, the 60 to 65 year olds, are almost complete with group 5C the 66 to 69 years olds in full swing.

As said, a lot to get through so you should be getting a call very soon provided your contact details are up to date with the health authorities.

And a bit of good news. The Valencian Community as a whole has not registered any deaths today from Covid-19, the first time since July last year and just 168 cases. There were 5 deaths added to the total but these were from December and January after checking records.

Got a text this morning for my husband and I to go for ours on Tuesday. We are both 67. We are getting the Pfizer. Second appointment is in 1st June.

We both got txts this morning to get our Pfizer vaccination on Thursday, my husband is 67 will be 68 in June and happy to say I got mine I’m 65 and 66 end of July! 1st jab behind Carrefour, 2nd in Rojales

Our first one is in Orhuela and the second in Almoradi.
