We unfortunately used Davinia for our bathroom & were very disappointed. In fact my husband had to finish off the job because they weren't going to finish things off properly.
Hope this helps your decision.

We also used Cocinas Farely. Great choice of finishes, excellent workmanship and the lady who works there in the mornings does speak English if that is important to you. Lady turned up with the fitters the following Monday. Measured up and we had to wait 2 weeks for delivery because we ordered some laminates with contrasting colours.

Turned up on the Monday two weeks later, removed the old units and the old dishwasher etc which was going rusty. Fitted it all by the Thursday that same week and sealed the units, double checked everything, fitted new dishwasher, new microwave, new under under unit lights, new extractor hood. new kitchen tap with the sprayer and so on.

Really pleased with the workmanship and the cupboards and drawers are huge.

Paid via bank transfer from UK bank and was very pleased with the total price. New marble worktop was a bit expensive but total cost was only around £4,500 when I'd transferred it across.

Heard a few horror stories from other people on our complex with things not arriving, costs, not great workmanship etc but Farely were brilliant.

Did any of you have to apply for a minor works licence or was it mentioned by the companies doing the bathroom or kitchen refurbs?

I endorse that. They did our kitchen many years ago and it still looks as good as when they did it.

MARCLIFF, most interested in the work you had done. Dud you keep mist of your kitchen units? How many new units did you have fitted along with all the other parts?
Thanks

Three sets of double cupboards. 2 top cupboards. 3 sets x 3 drawers (bottom two in each unit are huge and can put toaster, most kitchen gadgets out of site. Another set of doors above the push in-push out extractor fan, new microwave (built in above the oven), dishwasher and a pull out/spray tap. Two under cupboard LED strips. One cupboard under the stove with 3 vegetable racks and all soft closing. One marble worktop matching the existing worktop on the other side of the kitchen. One double cupboard under the sink.

Plus he put sealing strips along the bottom so no gaps under the cupboards.
About 5 years ago so no idea what the exchange rate is since then but paid 2500 pounds up front and 2000 pounds on completion (transferred in euros).

Only kept the oven, one existing worktop and the fridge/freezer which they built around.

Looks like you got value for money. Our friend have pulled their kitchen out and extended into dining room. They don’t need a lot of units really. Quotation from Conforma €10,500. Leroy Merlin
€9,300. They weren’t expecting it to be as much. Tiling and fitting extras.
I shall forward your prices to them and tell them to make contact .
Sincere thanks.
