Kombucha Scoby

Hi, does anybody know of any local shops where I get a Scoby probiotic culture for brewing Kombuchu, I'd rather avoid using the the internet (ie eBay or Amazon)?

Hello, i got my scoby from a friend, apparently lots of people do this rather than buy on line or try and friend a supplier.
I would be interested to know the answer to your question for future but if you are stuck i would be able to give you a piece of my scoby because after a week brewing it needs to be cut down and the rest is wasted. I would need to know where you are though i don't live in Quesada and only visit there normally every Thurs! hope this helps if you can't get some. L.
