You need to go to your local health centre and register, not the town hall. They are the ones who will issue a temp SIP card and record your contact details. You'll need passport, padron and Spanish contact number, preferably a mobile. And residency card (forgot that).

They sent us to the town hall!! Where we registered, .Will try the Health Centre in Benijofar on Monday. ..unless its ipen on a Saturday.
