Latest Covid vaccines programme

Just wondered what's happening with Covid jabs.

We had a ride to Torrevieja today to find the vaccine centre. Found it ok but no sign of activities and no info.

There seemed to be a flurry of posts recently talking about recent Covid jabs at Torrevieja. Do we know if there are more sessions planned?

They've run out so have had to close the mass vaccination centres. Still doing them in health centres but that's it. The so-called "vacunadomes" in the big cities had to close at lunchtime on Tuesday because there were no more. On Monday they put on 20 buses to bring people in from surrounding areas.

The good news is that they've received another batch and will carry on tomorrow but won't have enough for a mass vaccination centre until next Monday when they received the next lot.

As of yesterday, the Valencia Region had used up 98% of the vaccines supplied so the rest is for smaller health centres and they were doing some in Lo Marabu health centre this morning.

They do plan on giving a quarter of a million in the Valencia Region during next week.

I got a message today to go to Torrevieja behind Carrefour on Monday for the AstraZeneca vacation.
I’m 60 years old.

It appears that they are moving down the age groups, 65's called..60's being vaccinated next week..Over 70's being called in for theirs..
Have they forgotten the 66 to 69 year olds?

Looks like we're well down the pecking order. I'm actually 65 but as I was born in 1955 I'm classed as 66

We received 2x SMS today to go to Ocio in Torrevieja on Monday 26th. Both on private health insurance but hold temporary sips at Doña P med centre, ages 60 & 64.

Very true indeed as l am 66 and not heard anything yet,hopefully very soon
