Local Tip (near Aqua Park)

Hi,
Does anyone know the opening hours for the tip opposite the Aqua Park? I have a permit, but have never been to the tip. I assume I just drive in and dispose of my garden waste.

Drive in ,Then the man/woman attendant comes to your car takes your permit and reg number asks what rubbish you have .Then instructs you to whatever skip,once done you drive out he comes to give you back your permit and sign his sheet.Job done.

Best go in the morning at this time of year ( or any! ) they have unusual hours, seem to please themselves.
As advised, turn up, show the permit, unload and leave!

I think you also have to take additional ID with you (it tells you on the permit).
I had a hard time trying to persuade the guy that it was genuinely my permit and not borrowed from someone.

According to the Ayuntamiento, you only need a permit for garden waste, nothing else. So if you are tipping old furniture or freezers etc then you can just go along.

Closes 4pm weekdays and 2pm saturday

I have an old tv to dispose of.

You can now download an App called ‘Linea Verde” to arrange uplift of furniture, appliances etc. Or to contact them to report problems with bins, street lights etc.
You just need to send them a photo of the goods you want taken away and they acknowledge your request and tell you to put it beside your nearest bin. Very good, free service.
