It was a 2 week ban only although that is a couple of days short of 2 weeks I expect they're taking into account not many will go back before the Easter break.

I think it's a bit odd letting them all go back to work

I read it in El Pais this morning. They're proposing to extend the lockdown until the 26th but allow non essential workers back to work. It needs to get passed by parliament first.

I wonder if the non-essential workers being allowed back to work will include bar staff? :D

No point letting bar or shop staff back to work if the public are not allowed out

Considering the spike in both cases and deaths in Spain and an incredible spike in the deaths in UK over the last 24 hours then I doubt they will be considering this.
Netherlands and Belgium also savagely hit today with a 12% and 24% rise in deaths.
We are entering the realm of statistics as opposed to tragedy now.
Staying in is the least we can do.

Am pretty sure (based on text from El Pais) that the state of alarm (different from the current state of emergency) allows non essential business to re-open, so long as they are NOT customer facing. Therefore no bar staff or hairdressers returning any time soon.....
