Lost parcel

Lost parcel

Postby gillylee » Tue Aug 03, 2021 8:34 am

Hi every one , I am waiting for 2 separate parcels to arrive posted from royal mail from uk .at other times it has taken about 4-5days.after 2-3 week I am still waiting .
Am i answering my own question ....that i will be lucky if i see them any time soon !! Doubt they will turn up now, especially now that you have to put a label on the outside saying what's inside. Has this happened to anyone else or should i just mourn the loss of my parcels !!

I wouldn’t give up just yet, our last parcel (baby clothes) took SEVEN WEEKS from date of posting in Spain to arrival at UK address!!

I’m told the whole Mail system is jammed up in Madrid due to customs checks! Mail arriving in Spain from UK is subject to the same delays! Good luck

Hi may take awhile yet ours took 8 weeks

Yet another Brexit benefit
The sheep who voted leave have got what they wanted (Deserve)

So just hang on Spanish postal service are doing best they can customs has always been in place for third countries so us immigrants from uk have to be treated the same

don’t give up yet, we received a parcel recently that was posted in January, still time. A few years ago we received a New Year card that was posted December 2017 and arrived January 2019.

Was that an Amazon order? I’ve ordered from Amazon.es and find parcels arrive very quickly. Seems to be privately posted parcels via post offices are subjected to customs checks and therefore late arrival.

No it was direct from the club shop and delivered by DHL. Amazon usually are on time though though I did have a delivery from them recently which the courier marked as delivered on the Web site and it hadn't been. I expected an argument with Amazon but they just sent another item

If you are waiting for them to arrive at the Quesada Cerreos, forget it. The Christmas before last, my son had ordered 30 items from Ebay, out of which, only 4 arrived.
A few weeks ago a friend who lives here was on holiday in the UK and sent me a new sim card for my English phone, I went in to check for its arrival once she told me that she had posted it, every few days. Two weeks later she messages me to say that it had been returned to sender.
Good Luck. !!!!!

Amazon never have a problem. Always turns up in a timely manner
DHL can be a day or two late.

SERL are possibly the worst parcel service in the entire Solar System, including Pluto and any passing comets. They have so far lost 66% of the parcels they were supposed to be delivering to me. The one they didnt manage to lose but not deliver was because i tracked it down to the depot in Torrevieja and drove there and rescued it from them. SERL Customer Services people are harder to find than the entrance to the Lonely Mountain in last light of Durin's Day

Ive noticed official letters get here promptly, anything that looks like a personal letter or parcel is in danger. I cancelled a Direct Debit on my UK Barclays Account, online, 7 days ago, today i got a confirmation letter from Leicester.
