Lost TIE card

I wonder if anyone can help. I had to come back to the UK yesterday urgently and have a flight booked back to alicante later today. Somewhere between security at alicante and my destination in uk yesterday I have stupidly lost my TIE card. Question is . Can I Enter Spain this evening without it, with just my UK passport. Hoping I can. Thanks.

Yes you can. Might be worth enquiring at customs to see if it has been handed in.

Many thanks. That's put my mind at rest. I will check with lost property at both birmingham and alicante and ryanair but I don't hold much hope. I will have to sort this when I get back to Spain.

They may stamp your passport on entry but this can be annulled later on. Hope you are lucky in finding your TIE card.

Was there a post on here about reporting a lost TIE card? Whoever it was said under no circumstances say you lost it in the UK. Say you lost it in Spain.

Because the reporting system has a problem with it seemingly.

Probably because Spain will want a denuncia which you'll not get in UK.

I just wanted to say thanks to all the replies. Amazingly the police national at alicante Airport had it. It had been found on the floor at ryanair gate. So we collected it yesterday. So so lucky when I now realise the hoops I would have had to go through to get a replacement. Anyway thanks all for your words of help and advice
