Low Emission Zone, Zona Bajas Emisiones - Torrevieja

Does anyone actually know the boundaries of where this initiative (scam) is being rolled out please? Seems little point in getting one until this is established.

For the sake of 5 euros is it worth not getting one, you never know when you may have to drive through a restricted zone. Id like to know what the city boundaries are too, where it starts and ends.

You may not be allowed to drive through the zone depending on the classification of you car without getting a fine. Having a sticker will not be a right of passage ,,,

Next it'll be white cars Monday, blue and yellow Tuesday, black weds etc etc

I got onto the town hall and they don’t know where the boundaries will be !
It’s supposed to happen on the 1st. Of January.

Yes Willow when people said the 1st January for Torrevieja I did think which year!

Or based on your reg number or birthday etc.

I wonder what impact this will have on businesses within the boundary areas? I know i won't be shopping at their stores if i have to jump through a bunch on hoops to get there.

I really shouldn't have to explain this Glassful, but in case you do not know, i will do so, very briefly.

This initiative is supposed to prevent climate change by the lowering of C02 levels. But C02 does nothing to cause climate change nor has it ever been shown to. In fact, C02 is nothing more than plant food, not to mention the very gas you and i breathe out. It is essential to all life on earth. This is just another excuse in order to micromanage people and make a fast buck at the same time. If you can convince people that a gas which they exhale is the cause of all adverse weather phenomenon, and is killing the planet, then you have them over a barrel with everything. Dodgy non-science rules it would seem.
