I would think so but I didn't need to ask as we're sorted. I just happened to see them and asked if they were obtainable from there and they said yes, thought it might be easier than queing at post office although saying that they were pretty busy.

So am I correct in thinking that if you have a car that the site says is not eligible for a sticker, that you can no longer drive it if your house is in Torrevieja. And there isn’t a yearly fee you can pay to be able to do so.

Wonder what'll happen with classic cars ? They have monthly meetings and cruise around different places?

The two cities that have already set up the low emission zones have an exemption for residents. Not sure if this will last or if you need a residents parking sticker.

But as over 100 municipalities have made no details available as yet (that includes Torrevieja) it will be impossible to answer.

And, as Darro has pointed out, this will not start on 1 Jan 2023 but the ayuntamientos have until the end of 2023 to get the systems in place.

My car is a 2001 diesel which does not qualify for any sticker.I wonder if the time will come when the itv will require a current sticker or a trip to the desguace.Nobody knows at the monemnt.

You have to show those documents when you apply on line, so yes it will be the same. Incidentally we applied online on Monday 5th Dec , arrived on Friday 9th, very impressed with the service especially as the Tuesday & Thursday were Red Days.

Hi, I'm coming to torrevieja over Xmas and will have a hire car. I'm sure it will meet the emissions standard but will I have to get a sticker ?

Hire cars should have the sticker in the window already. A car I bought 5 years included the sticker with the documents and my new (to me) car I bought 2 years also had the sticker with it.
