Man Bags
Man Bags

I see our continental males are heavily into man bags to carry their wallets, glasses and phones etc. around especially in the evenings (as they don't appear so popular in the day time).? I was wondering if any of us had reverted to using a man bag?

My husband always used a man bag and I can't understand why British men are so against them and insist on walking about with wallets in their back pockets. While getting Petrol you see the Spanish Men taking out their Manbags to pay instead of fishing around in pockets for cash and cards. Also useful for keeping Car Documents safe. They slide under the front seat for safety as well.

I use one, but still prefer to keep my wallet and change in my pockets.
Phone(s), car keys, and various items of junk go in the bag.
Car documents live in the Car, tucked away in a safe place.

Been carrying a gymsack for 10 years, very lightweight and don't notice its there. I have a man bag for when I fancy a change.

Heaving used a briefcase for my whole working life, I now have a few man bags. However, I usually use them to carry a camera plus some lower value bulky items that I would struggle to put in my pockets.
I do not tend to put my wallet or keys in, however. For women, looking after their handbags is second nature, but I only started using a man bag late in life, so have an unfortunate habit of walking off and leaving it in restaurants or bars. Most of the time, I keep it round my neck to make sure I don't lose it.

I was recently persuaded to buy one. It took some getting used to, mainly remembering it, but my wife loves not having to carry all my junk around: wallet, glasses, car keys, sunnies, etc. all fit in there.
