Map at the end of the link showing Covid cases per 100k in last 14 days in towns in the Province. Just click on your area for numbers. Least cases in green areas followed by light red dark red orange and brown is very bad.

That's a really interesting map Bee. Many thanks. It's good to see we're not too bad with just 4 cases in the last 14 days.

well in montesinos for a fact i know that there has not been 1 case as i know of at least 7 people tested positive, and in rojales i know of another 10+ positives unless they are just posting the very ill people and not the mild cases

I agree with you Sam. It’s the same here in San fulgencio village with 3 of my neighbours testing positive and another 8 families that I know of having at least one family member test positive in the last 14 days.

Hi, I live in Montesinos and can assure you there has been at least one case. I saw an elderly man of my aquaintance yesterday. He tested positive for Covid and was in hospital for four days last week. Fortunately he has recovered and his family have not been affected. Its everywhere and some people are too embarassed to tell others they have had it.

If you look above the map it says that the data was last updated on November 1st 2020 so it's way out of date unfortuately.

I don't see the date you are referring to TonTri. The link was from the 12th Jan and the data it said was last updated on 11th Jan. This is from today's paper with the same data plus a 4 day map underneath

I still get the same date for when the data was updated on the second link you've sent Bee. This is what I get:

I'm really confused by these numbers as this (below) is one of the headlines in El Pais today (yes I know its the whole of Spain, before anyone points that out)

"Spain reports 38,869 new coronavirus cases in a day, a new record high"

and like comments above I unfortunately know more people than this map suggests for this area that have tested positive.

I for one will not become complacent and celebrating anytime soon with the map numbers and really wished Bee hadn't posted it as I think it could give people a false sense of security.

Now I suppose I will get posts telling me I'm over reacting

It's good to be careful but a bit of good news is a real respite
