Mobile phones - Pay as You Go SIM

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to buy a Spanish Pay as You Go SIM card? I only want it for emergency phone calls so don't want a monthly subscription like Lobster. Thanks.

Yes, I bought one from the Orange shop in Habaneras. You have to watch which network you buy as some invalidate the sim if it's not used every 3 or 6 months. With Orange you only need to use it once a year.

You need to check which is the best network for the signal in your area, ask around your neighbours

I got mine from Dog and Bone in La Zenia, not Boulevard.

She went through everything and cheap as chips.

Customer service is excellent

I think I needed to show my passport when I was getting one, so don't forget to bring it with you.
