Naturgy gas bills - 49% per Kwh increase?

Just got the gas bill in and it seems to have gone through the roof

Nov & Dec 0.059 per Kwh
Jan to Mid March 0.088 per Kwh


That's a 49% increase in the cost of the gas!!


Has anyone else seen a similar jump with either Naturgy or their natural gas company?

The temporary cap on gas and electricity prices ended on Dec 31st so that may account for much of the increase.

I've been looking at prices on Iberdrola & Naturgy- Gas only and both were stating last night 0.084 or thereabouts - which is way over the figures 2 months ago. VAT is same 10%, so its all down to a big jump in the price of the gas - over 40% up - ballpark just added €100 per month to my gas biill. Waiting for the electric to come in - hopefully a smaller jump.
