They are appearing everywhere, Calle Azule up to Harry’s bar
All the new ones seem to be 30 kmh.
For people with miles per hour speedos, It’s 18.6 mph. you don’t need 3rd, 4th or 5th gears. Use more petrol, pollute the atmosphere and ruin your Particulate filter.

Airport road is as wide as a motorway. It's ridiculous to class it as a 30 zone.

Lunacy - and no one is taking any notice. In fact it's dangerous to do so as other drivers get irritated trying to get past and are likely to cause accidents. Our car won't DO 30 km unless you take your foot right off the accelerator. And the police certainly don't stick to it!!

I'm enjoying pottering along on tick-over - though admit to doing 40 rather than 30 - and my fuel consumption has really dropped too to over 50mpg!
But last week I was following another car alongside the golfcourse towards the fountain - both doing between 30 & 40 - and some twit decided to shoot past, crossing the solid white line as he went.
He could not see what was ahead of us and they had a restriction in the road by the entrance to the DialPrix carpark with lorries parked both sides & a man with a stop/arrow directing traffic.
When I reached the spot no sign of the car & the man was OK & on his mobile - I hope he was phoning police!
I caught it all on my dashcam.
And yesterday I had 4 vehicles, in separate locations.overtake crossing the white line.
It's not the slow speed that's dangerous, it's the stupid ones that think a few more kph will give them a few more minutes - estate agents seem to be a prime example - and don't care about breaking the law.

Years ago (40 + years)driving was part of my work and I was always in a hurry and it was always frustrating to get stuck behind an 'old fuddy duddy'. No the tables have turned and I am not in a hurry to go anywhere so I try to stick to the speed limit. As Martin says you very soon have someone behind trying to look in your boot and I enjoy every minute of it ,you can almost see the steam coming out the side windows, but hey ho I just can't go any faster. I have had many cars overtake me on the white line. I am inclined to agree with 'artiste" I think there is a great danger of an accident being caused by some frustrated person. I thought these restrictions were to reduce accidents, not cause them .

I totally agree with you regarding estate agents they are a law unto themselves, dashing around Quesada like they have priority over everybody else.

And you will be seeing 'these Idiots' explaining there actions at the side of the road, it takes time but it will become the norm, in France where the speed limits have been lower for a few years the speed of the traffic is a lot slower not many excessively exceed the speed limit now, points and fines have an effect with more radars.
