New Hypermarket?

Apologies if this is old news but I’ve not see a recent update on this. Went past that big new ‘barn’ by the gym. We have been speculating on what it might be. It has been unveiled as as ‘Big Shopping’. That’s the name of it and it has a shopping trolley as part of the logo so looks like it will be a produce hypermarket of some sort. Can’t be sure as they are still stocking the shop but I could see loads of shelving of the type used in food stores. Can’t be far to opening.

The last time it was discussed on here it was said it was going to be another Chinese shop.
Expat rumour control?

Just reporting facts as seen with my own eyes! Name is on the building including the outline of a shopping trolley for all to see. Looks like a grocery shop to me. That's not to say it won't be Chinese owned.

Sorry, wasn't saying it was expat rumour control. I meant the last time it was mentioned was under the heading of something like expat rumour control.

Its what we need - another large Chinese shop.

If it is a food store it might fare a bit better as there isn't much in the way of shopping on top of this hill. That said the new Consum was practically empty yesterday. With the recent addition of two new supermarkets there is a lot of competition already! We shall see.

No the logo is not the same, but I have a sinking feeling it will be the same thing - another Chinese market under a different name....

Better than an empty building...

but only just...

What an eyesore that building is, I feel so sorry for the property owners who have it on their doorstep.
