Overcharging in supermarkets

the other day in The Food Company in Quesada I bought 2 items which had a reduced ticket displayed in front of the item. When paying at the till I saw that I was being charged the full price, which was 10 euros instead of 6 euros. The cashier checked it and was told that the ticket had been put in the wrong place even though it was described for being the item sold!!!

I went in Iceland in San Fulgencio today. There was a pallet, containing cases of 24 cans of beer with a big sign saying "10 euros" on it. This was actually stuck on the front of the stack of cases of beer. When I got to the till, the cashier started typing in 24 x something and I thought it a bit strange so I asked what price it was. He said 15 euros and I replied that it said 10 on the cases. He had a quick glance and said "that should be for the Stella but I'll charge you 10". It makes you wonder whether this is some kind of company policy there.

Never was overcharged there.

They also had a policy of If it doesn't scan you get it for free.
Great supermarket , never the same after SuperValu takeover.
