I know of a Physics forum where theres currently a debate on calculating the average velocity of a shorn welsh sheep in in still air at different altitudes. Developing a Hamiltonian to calculate the drag coefficiant is most entertaining. You never know when this might be useful.

Theres no such thing as useless statistics, just useless statisticians.
