Pool lights.

Pool lights.

Postby karen jones » Fri Mar 27, 2020 7:52 am

Sadly our pool doesn't have lights. I don't want to drill holes in a pool that doesn't leak. Anyone have any suggestions.
I think I may have had a brainwave last night. I wondered if some sort of waterproof, battery cooperated light, torch would give some nice light for summer evenings swimming.
That's one for the div guys to think about.
Just trying to lighten the mood and think of the summer around the corner. Glad it's spring and not Autumn!
The chip pan goes away today as I must stop comfort eating. I will be too big for the pool never mind my swimming costume!

Hey Karen, we got some floating lights from Amazon, remote controlled and there's about 6 colours in them, they look like wee petals, they are actually really cute.

You are a very sensible pool owner! Normal pool, car headlights, are an invitation to leaks! You can install LED lights which stick to the side of the pool, are low (12 volts dc) voltage, waterproof and do not require a hole in the pool wall. They are available in several outlets but give us an update when you buy. Otherwise, do what I did and surround the pool with lights....

Found some called Ledecsun. Not cheap at 200€ but I am going to buy one when the weather warms up. I did think about a divers lantern too?

Would be interested to know if you bought one of these. If so, was it worth the money.
Thanks
