Portuguese confusion

Portuguese confusion

Postby Steve and Jackie » Wed May 12, 2021 6:11 pm

Hi Everyone
We are driving to Portugal in a couple of weeks to visit family. I know for a fact I would need a negative PCR test if I was to fly but all I can find in regards to the Spain/Portugal land border is that the restrictions have been lifted.
The pharmacy in El Raso believes we do not need a test but then advised us to double check.

Does anyone have any knowledge on this.
Thanks

Hi
Yep done that but just keep getting the same answer which is land border restrictions have been lifted, and then later on it says all travellers must need a negative pcr test arriving at the airport.
Just can find out if there is any requirement to have the test if you are driving.

No PCR test needed by either country if crossing by road from Spain to Portugal or vice versa. PCR tests only needed if coming by sea or air.
